KIWANIS CLUB OF LOMA LINDA VALLEY

Installation of Officers: 2005 - 2006

On 26 September 2005, the club held its annual installation ceremony.  Dr. Osterdock hosted the meeting at her lovely home, and served a delectable meal, topped off by the best tiramisu in southern California.   Keven Roark was the master of ceremonies, and kept the program on track.  He introduced Lt. Gov Rick Hartmann who installed the new officers and George Francis (District YPCO), who gave a special award.  The theme was “Western”, and everyone showed up in his/her best jeans, boots and western shirt.  Gay Shenton, who did her usual outstanding job of providing decorations for the event, provided hats and bandannas.  The cowboy cutouts, the table centerpieces, and the flowerpot boots really set the scene.  Rick Hartmann later auctioned these off.  All had a good time.  A special thanks to Dr. Osterdock for the use of her patio and the view from the top.
